    Well, for the “short” and “easy” (??) wod I actually did Rx, with no modifications, for the 1st time in a workout…though it took me forever!!! (i.e. 2 pushups at a time, me = 26:35 and most people finished in like 13.:)
    Anyways, I am so happy I found crossfit. I was so bored with my workouts since I stopped boxing. My first month is done today, so now I am going to join. I never knew there could be so many strong and nice people all in one spot, especially at 6:30 am. Thanks guys!!!

    Way to go Steph, rx after one month is amazing. Tracey & Christina lead the pack this morning with times under 13 min. Great job ladies. 15:47 rx.

    Glad to have you here Steph… Andrea tells me that you’re a Guelph grad – cool.
    I like this WOD, pretty intense with the number of dead lifts makes for a good morning sweat.

    18:50Rx, I went out a bit too fast in the first 2 rounds and paid for it later, gotta pace. Some great times this morning to set the bar for the day.

    Too bad I’ll be missing this one today. I might actually be able to pull off RX on this. Of course that’s easy to say when I’m not there.

    Awesome WOD today. Hard time lifting my arms over my head after I was done. Managed to do the weight Rx, but modified my push ups a little. 18:20 for time.

    Man, full p/u’s are a pain! The Pitbosses have spoken, I’ll try full Rx. Did full Rx – no knees – had to break ‘em up – took 27:30. I think it was that full mile warm-up that tried me out brfore I even started:.

    Guys, first off, I love everyones enthusiasm and intensity at FirePower, its what make me love training members. However, doing a WOD without doing the technique properly is shortchanging your chances at overall improvement. Half pushups when you are able to do full ones, half squats when you are able to do full ones, chin not up to bar when you are able to do full ones. Forget how fast anyone else is doing it, get the exercises done properly, break it up, Dan A has taught me this, it helps! 3-5 proper movements with short breaks can often be better than 8-9 shitty/sloppy ones. Be honest with yourself, if you are physically able to perform what the the exercise calls for (ie – chest to ground, or legs to 90 or below etc) then do it instead of cheating yourself and your trainers. Please stop rushing through WOD’s looking for an amazing time while compromising the technique thats going to help you improve as an athlete.
